How do I become a VOX Rewards Member?

Joining VOX Rewards is easy. All you have to do is sign-up to be a VOX Member and agree to the Rewards terms and conditions. Join now for free.

If you already have a VOX Member account, then you can just upgrade to VOX Rewards on your My Account page.

Can I join VOX Rewards at the cinema?

No, you can only join VOX Rewards through the VOX Cinemas app or website.

Do I have to pay to join?

VOX Rewards is completely free to join.

Will I get a VOX Rewards card?

Your new VOX Rewards e-card can be found in your 'My Rewards e-card' section on your 'My Account page'. If you have an Apple device (that supports Apple Wallet), you can store your Rewards E-Card in Apple Wallet.

VOX Rewards will not have physical cards.

Can I share my account with friends or family to earn more points?

No, this is an individual membership so you can't share details with family and friends. We will be checking for id to make sure the account name matches. You can treat your family and friends to a free ticket when you have enough points.

Do my Rewards points expire?

Yes your points will expire after 15 months of earning them, so make sure your redeem them on free ticket or selected food and beverage items before then.

Can I use my VOX Rewards Membership at other VOX Cinemas?

Yes, you can use your account for all VOX Cinemas and City Cinemas Oman.

Earning Points

How do I earn Rewards points?

You can earn points on one ticket per session only, on up to 4 sessions per day. Rewards members can earn points by booking tickets online as a VOX Member or scanning your Rewards e-card in cinemas when purchasing a ticket.

How many points will I earn with each booking?

How many points you earn depends on the type of VOX Cinemas experience you book. Find out more information and browse the points table.

Will I get points if I book online?

Yes, you will get you points for the ticket your purchase online if you have signed in as a VOX Member with an active Rewards account.

How many points do I need to get a free ticket?

This will depend on the type of VOX experience you wish to watch your movie in. Find out more information.

How do I see how many points I have?

You can see your points balance and points history on the My Account section of the VOX Cinemas website or app.

Why do I only get points for one ticket when I have purchased more?

As VOX Rewards is an individual membership you only get the points for your ticket only.

Will I get Rewards points at the kiosk?

You will not earn points at the kiosk. We are upgrading our systems and hope to add the ability to earn and burn points on the kiosks soon.

Will I earn points if I use a bank offer?

This depends on the type of bank offer

For "2 for 1" and "Buy One Get One Free", you will earn points for one fully paid ticket only.

No points will be earned if purchasing an already discounted ticket.

Redeeming my Rewards

How do I redeem my Rewards?

Redeeming Rewards via VOX Cinemas website and mobile apps:

Please select a valid movie session online, login as a VOX Member and confirm your ticket quantity. Your free Rewards tickets/combos will then appear on the Offers step of the booking process. Select the amount of Rewards tickets you wish to redeem and apply to your booking.

You cannot access the offer step if you have not logged in as a VOX member.

Redeeming Rewards in the cinemas:

Please show our staff your Rewards E-Card when purchasing the ticket at the ticket counter. Our staff will scan your Rewards E-Card and verify that you have free tickets available.

How quickly will my points appear in my Account?

Points will appear once your session has started. Points will not be issued in advance for online advanced tickets until the showtime has passed.

Can I see my history of Rewards?

Your Rewards history can be found in the My Account section of the VOX Cinemas website or mobile app.

What if I don't have the VOX Cinemas app?

We recommend you do use the VOX Cinemas app as it contains all your account information and will speed up your in-cinema booking process. If you don't have the app you can find your account information on the website.

What if I forget to login as a VOX Member online or scan my e-card when I buy my tickets?

You will not earn points if you haven't logged in at VOX Member online or scanned your e-card in the cinema. Sorry!

What happens if I refund my ticket?

Your points will be automatically refunded to your account. Points may take up to 24 hours to be added back into your account. Ticket refunds will only be available in-line with VOX cinemas standard refund policy.

Can I redeem my points for Cash?

Your Rewards points are for use in VOX Cinemas only. No points can be redeemed for cash or cash alternative.

What is Movie of the Week?

Every week we will select one movie where you can get a bonus 50 points when you book a session for the validity period.

Can I redeem my free Rewards items at the Kiosks?

You will not be able to redeem Rewards at the kiosk. We are upgrading our systems and hope to add this functionality to the kiosks soon.

Can I redeem my free Rewards items along with Bank Offers?

You will not be able to redeem your Reward points when applying a Bank Offer.

Offers and Promotions

Can I use VOX Rewards with the VOX two for one mobile providers offers? (DU Tuesday / Ooredoo Monday / Makasib Wednesday)

You will earn points for the paid ticket of your two for one booking on the above promotions, but you cannot pay for your free ticket with your Rewards points.

Can I use VOX Rewards with the Bank Offers?

You will earn points for the paid ticket of any two for one bank offers but you cannot redeem your paid ticket with your Rewards points. You will not earn any points if you are purchasing an already discounted ticket.

General

1. VOX Cinemas Rewards Members (the "Members") are subject to the below terms and conditions (the "Terms and conditions") and by signing up to VOX Rewards (the "Site"), each Member agrees that he or she has read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions. VOX Cinemas, may at any time amend, modify or supplement these Terms and Conditions, and continued use of the Site or the special offers made available by VOX Cinemas will constitute the Member acceptance of any such amendment, modification or supplementation.
2. The Members should refer to the Site for the most updated Terms and Conditions.

Membership

1. Membership of VOX Rewards is free of charge.
2. Membership is for individuals only; it is limited to one person and cannot be shared with others.
3. Members must provide a unique email address and mobile number. This email address will be used by VOX Cinemas to communicate membership details, information and special offers relating to VOX Rewards and VOX Cinemas.
4. The membership is limited to one membership per person.
5. If a Member is using his or her membership in a fraudulent way and is failing to comply with the Terms and Conditions, VOX Cinemas has the right to immediately revoke their membership without any notice.
6. Members can sign up to VOX Rewards. Members cannot sign-up at the Cinemas candy bar.
7. Membership is valid at all branded VOX Cinemas (the "Cinemas").
8. Membership is valid at all branded VOX Cinemas and City Cinemas Oman (the "Cinemas").

Earning Points

1. Members will earn Reward points on one paid ticket per movie session (the "Session"). Members can earn on a maximum of 4 Sessions per day.
2. Points can only be earned on full price movie tickets, not food and drink or gift vouchers.
3. Points cannot be transferred or shared between membership accounts.
4. A ticket purchased by a Member must be used by that same member to earn points.
5. The number of Reward points earned will depend on the experience type the Member has purchased.
6. Members will not earn Reward Points on complimentary tickets.
7. Points cannot be earned in conjunction with offers and promotions including but not limited to the bank offers.
8. Points can be earned for ticket purchases in the Cinemas and online. To earn points online guests must login with membership details before purchasing tickets. To earn points in the cinema, Members must identify themselves as a Rewards Member and scan their Rewards e-card located in the customer account section on the VOX Cinemas app or website.
9. Points cannot be earned on movie tickets purchased at the VOX Cinemas kiosks.
10. Points cannot be redeemed for cash or a cash alternative.
11. Points will expire 15 months from the date they have been awarded.

Redeeming Points

1. Members can redeem Reward points for free movie tickets and selected food and beverage items.
2. The number of Reward points needed to redeem a ticket will vary depending on the session type the Member is redeeming the ticket for.
3. Rewards points cannot be used to purchase promotional tickets.
4. Points cannot be used to purchase tickets in conjunction with offers and promotions including but not limited to the bank offers.
5. Points can be used to redeem free tickets both in VOX Cinemas and online. To redeem tickets online guests must login with membership details before purchasing tickets. To redeem tickets in Cinemas, members must identify themselves as a Rewards member and scan their Rewards e-card located in the customer account section on the VOX Cinemas app or website.
6. Points cannot be redeemed for tickets purchased at the kiosks.
7. Points cannot be used to purchase tickets to special screening or live events.
8. Points can be used to pay for package tickets at OUTDOOR at Galleria only. Points cannot be used to pay for other package tickets including but not limited to; 'Couple’s Package GOLD', 'Theatre Package'.

Refunds or Ticket Swaps

1. For tickets that have been purchased with Reward points and that have successfully been refunded, points will be credited back into their Rewards membership account. This will be conducted within 24 hours.
2. VOX Cinemas standard refund and ticket swap policy applies.

Expired Membership

1. Members are defined as active if they have transacted using their membership once in the last 18 months. If not the membership account becomes inactive. Accounts can be reactivated once they transact again however points will have expired within 15 months of earning.

Offers and Promotions

Movie of the Week

1. Movie of the week applies to selected movies per week as chosen by VOX Cinemas (the "Movie of the Week").
2. VOX Rewards customers will receive an additional 50 bonus points for tickets purchased within the validity period of the Movie of the Week as determined by VOX Cinemas at its sole discretion.
3. VOX Rewards customers will only receive one set of bonus points per ticket transaction per day.
4. Standard VOX Rewards terms and conditions apply.

Free Popcorn Offer

1. One free large popcorn available to existing VOX Rewards Members.
2. This offer can be applied to a large popcorn available from the candy bar; Flavors available are caramel, salt, cheese or popcorn flavor of the month.
3. Free popcorn can only be redeemed at the cinema candy bar and not online.
4. Free popcorn is only redeemable once.
5. Free popcorn can be redeemed within the first three months from the date it was awarded.

Ad-hoc Promotions and Offers

1. Members who have their membership card scanned or buy tickets online may get automatically entered into a promotional draw to win prizes or receive ad-hoc discounts, offers and rewards. Members are subject to the terms & conditions of such offers.

Termination of Programme

1. VOX Cinemas reserves the right to modify or close the VOX Rewards loyalty programme, or to change, cancel or withdraw any of the terms and conditions, without assigning any reasons whatsoever at any point of time at its own discretion. It reserves the right to discontinue VOX Rewards memberships - existing or new – permanently or temporarily.
2. VOX Cinemas will use reasonable efforts to include up-to-date and accurate information on the website for any such change, cancellation, addition, withdrawal or modification.
3. Benefits and offers made to you through the VOX Rewards programme may change or be withdrawn without prior intimation. VOX Cinemas will not be responsible for any liability arising from such situations.
4. VOX Cinemas has the right to modify the manner in which VOX Rewards points are earned and redeemed, including the number of VOX Rewards points earned and the value of these VOX Rewards points, and will endeavor to notify you of any changes in advance.
